Product Overview
Storage Built With the Same Care as the Pieces It Stands Beside
The JL&C Buffet Sideboard begins with a material decision that separates it from the overwhelming majority of storage furniture sold at a similar price point: solid wood multilayer board. This is a real-timber construction — layered solid wood bonded under pressure in alternating grain orientations — that delivers the surface quality and structural density of solid wood while eliminating the seasonal movement, panel warping and joint instability that single-ply solid wood panels develop over time in changing humidity and temperature conditions. The result is a carcass that remains flat, square and stable through years of use, regardless of the climate it is placed in.
Around and beneath this timber carcass, a metal frame provides the structural backbone — connecting and reinforcing the carcass panels, providing the anchor points for hinges, handles and internal fittings, and ensuring the entire piece retains its geometry under load. Metal frame construction at this level eliminates the flex and racking that purely wood-jointed cabinet carcasses are susceptible to over time, particularly in pieces of the width common to dining room and hotel lobby buffets.
The stainless steel legs complete the piece with a finish appropriate to both residential and commercial environments. Stainless steel is selected specifically for its resistance to corrosion, its clean and consistent surface finish, and its ability to carry the visual weight of a large buffet or sideboard cabinet without requiring the bulk of turned wood or cast metal alternatives. Leg height, profile and finish — brushed, polished or powder-coated — are all adjustable per order.
The JL&C Buffet Sideboard is equally suited to a dining room wall, a hotel lobby credenza position, a restaurant service sideboard, a living room media console application or an office reception unit. Custom dimensions, internal configurations, surface finishes and door types are all available. Our team works directly with interior designers, procurement managers and project buyers from first enquiry through to delivery.
