Unlike solid wood frame constructions, the bent-tube metal base of this chair is engineered to precise tolerances, with each weld point ground and finished to ensure the frame presents without visible joint lines or surface irregularities.

Over the metal base, a high-density foam seat pad and back cushion are independently positioned and hand-finished to the specified depth and firmness profile. Each cushion face is then upholstered in premium leather or high-grade faux leather, with button-tufted detailing hand-executed across both the seat and back panels. Every button is set at a consistent depth, every tuck line runs straight and every panel edge is trimmed cleanly before the piece passes final inspection at JL&C’s Shanghai facility.
