Satin chrome is neutral and slightly brighter than brushed silver, making it the most versatile finish across different interior colour palettes. Matte black is a powder-coat applied over the electroplated base, producing a completely flat, non-reflective surface with high contrast against light-toned interiors. Three top surface materials are available. A stainless steel sheet top is welded flush to the frame for a monolithic, single-material appearance — the most durable option for daily use as there is no glass to chip or break. Clear tempered glass (4 mm or 6 mm) is seated within the steel top frame and retained by structural adhesive, with a polished edge — it provides visual lightness and is a good choice for smaller-diameter or lower tables where structural load is limited. Smoked tinted tempered glass (5 mm standard, the same 茶玻 bronze-warm grey tinted glass used in our bookshelf range) adds tonal warmth to the top surface and reduces its visual density — it pairs particularly well with brushed gold and brushed silver frames. For covered outdoor use, or for environments where impact risk is higher than average, the stainless steel sheet top is recommended. All glass options are thermally tempered to safety standards before dispatch.

What sizes are available, and can the table height be customised to suit my sofa or bed height?

Standard top shapes include round (35–60 cm diameter), square (35×35 cm to 55×55 cm) and rectangular (up to 70×40 cm). Height is fully specifiable within a standard range of 35 cm to 70 cm. For sofa side table use, the most practical height typically places the table surface level with the sofa arm — commonly 55–65 cm depending on the sofa profile. For low lounge chair or daybed accent table use, 35–45 cm is the typical range. For bedside use in a hotel suite, the most practical height sits level with or just below the top of the mattress, typically 60–70 cm. Can the stainless steel side table be used outdoors or in high-humidity environments?

Yes, with the appropriate finish specification. Stainless steel is inherently corrosion-resistant, making this table suitable for covered outdoor terraces, hotel pool deck areas, garden lounge settings and high-humidity interior environments such as spa lounges or enclosed pool areas. For outdoor or high-humidity applications, we recommend a stainless steel sheet top rather than a glass top to eliminate any glass adhesive degradation risk over time. For the frame finish, brushed silver or satin chrome are preferred over brushed gold for outdoor and coastal applications, as they show water spotting less readily. Round tube legs produce the lightest visual profile — the circular section minimises the visible silhouette of the leg when viewed at an angle, making the table appear more delicate and less imposing in the room. Square tube legs appear more architectural and substantial, with a visible flat face that shows the electroplated finish more prominently. Flat bar legs — a wider, thinner rectangular section — create a graphic, planar quality that reads well from the side elevation and is often specified for the most minimal or architectural contexts. Within each profile type, the section dimension — the diameter of round tube, the face width of square tube, or the width-to-depth ratio of flat bar — can be adjusted per order to control visual weight from very fine and delicate to bold and structural.
